About Freyda

Freyda began with a line.

A simple gesture on paper.
A curve. A silhouette. A moment captured without explanation.

Over time, the line left the page and became thread.

Freyda explores the relationship between drawing and textile — how a drawn gesture changes when it is translated into fabric, how a line acquires texture, weight and presence.

Two expressions

The work moves between two worlds.

Editorial Line Art distills the human figure into its quietest form: a line, a gesture, an attitude.

Textile Art allows that language to expand — into composition, texture and the slower rhythm of embroidery.

There is an intention to keep things restrained.
To leave space around the image.
To let the material speak without asking it to become something else.

Freyda is interested in quiet forms, imperfect gestures and the beauty of what is left unsaid.

Each piece is created in Bulgaria, where drawing, fabric and thread meet.

Art for spaces that don't need to be filled.
